I'm rocking the chop on 09/08/2025

There is always something worth hoping for, that’s why I’m rocking the chop.

I have lost family to aggressive brain tumors and watched as many friends faced the same diagnosis. I know the importance of raising awareness about cancer to encourage early screening and diagnosis. That is part of the reason I am choosing to cut my hair.

I also don’t take for granted that every patient diagnosed will have the support they need to undergo treatment. So please help support in any small way possible.

I’ve decided to #ROCKTHECHOP for Cancer Council’s Ponytail Project. Cancer affects 1 in 2 Australians in their lifetime. A small difference is still a step in the right direction. So help me show those 1 in 2 Australians that they aren’t alone, that they are more than a statistic and that there is always something worth hoping for.

My Updates

Facing back to 2023

Monday 7th Apr

In May of 2023, I took part in the Leukemia Foundation’s “Shave for a Cure.” Back then, I understood very little about what cancer really meant—not just the diagnosis, but the day-to-day reality. I didn’t yet grasp how it affects lives in quiet, ongoing ways—the hospital visits, the waiting, the effort to keep life feeling normal.

Two years on, that perspective has shifted.

Since then, I’ve lost a close family member to a brain tumor. I've also watched many friends receive the same devastating diagnosis. I’ve seen how important it is to show up, to raise awareness, and to offer support in any way we can.

That’s why I’m taking part in the Ponytail Project. It’s not just about cutting my hair—it’s about standing alongside those affected, honoring their stories, and contributing to a cause that touches so many lives.

I believe in miracles, medicine and the power of giving. Help me to bring light to those facing cancer, every donation big or small counts.

Friday 21st Mar
Each and every donation is more than just financial support - it’s a message of hope, a reminder that we are never truly alone. Every donation is a reminder that no one fights alone and even in the darkest moments God’s Love prevails.

The hair-growing begins…

Thursday 20th Mar
I’m bringing back the bob to support the amazing work the cancer council do. Donate to see my hair get significantly shorter🎉 (and show your support for those impacted by cancer).
