I'm rocking the chop (shave) to help help humans living with cancer
Did you know that 1 in 2 Queenslanders will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime?
Hello. I, King Gerald, am taking part in Cancer Council’s Ponytail Project campaign to raise funds that will support Queenslanders impacted by cancer.
After going through a cancer scare and screening this year, I want to make a difference to the lives of the humans affected by cancer.
Over the next five weeks, I’ll be growing my belly fur back as long as possible, alongside humans all across Queensland, before shaving my lil belly and rocking a brand new buzz cut feature #chopforchange.
All funds raised will go towards cancer research, prevention programs and support services. This means everything from transport to get human cancer patients to and from their medical appointments, to assisting childcare facilities to keep the human kids safe from the sun.
I know that I can help create change.
Will you support me?
You can find out more about where your donations go at ponytailproject.com.au/about-cancer-council.
Thank you!
*None of my fur will be made into wigs for the humans
