I'm rocking the chop on 30/07/2024
I’m once again rocking the chop to put a stop to cancer!
Did you know that 1 in 2 Queenslanders will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime?
In 2015, I was privileged to be one of the St Margaret's prefects who organised the first Ponytail Project. One special part of this experience was, together with Maria Cobain, being the first to have our ponytails chopped.
The Ponytail Project was such a special part of my final year at school as it was raising funds for a cause close to my heart. As an old girl, watching the evolution of the Ponytail Project has continued to fill me with pride each year.
To celebrate the 10th Ponytail Project, I am again chopping off my ponytail to be donated to Real Fringe Hair Bands and taking part in the Cancer Council’s Ponytail Project campaign to raise funds that will support Queenslanders impacted by cancer.
All funds raised will go towards cancer research, prevention programs and support services. This means everything from transport to get cancer patients to and from their medical appointments, to assisting childcare facilities to keep kids safe from the sun.
Will you support me?

Thank you!
